Meet Kevin ā a gentle soul learning that the world isnāt so scary after all. š
With patience and reassurance, Kevin has started blossoming into the sweetest, most gentle boy. Each day, his confidence grows a little more. Now weāre greeted with his adorable good-morning stretches and the cutest little prances around the yard. It has been such a joy watching him discover how to just be a dog. He even gives the tiniest kisses if you ask nicely!
Kevin loves going for walks and walks beautifully on leash. Loud noises can still make him a bit nervous, but when he gets spooked, a little encouragement is all it takes for him to regroup and keep going. Heās even started showing interest in toys.
At just two years old, Kevin is still very much a young dog. Because he arrived so shy, itās easy to forget his age, but as his confidence continues to build, weāre starting to see those playful puppy traits peek through.
Kevin will need a patient and understanding home. Heās still working on his house training. The good news is he loves his crate, and keeps his house clean. Even with the door open, he prefers relaxing there and will happily tuck himself in at bedtime. He sleeps like an angel through the night and is overall a very quiet boy.
Kevin eats well and enjoys treats, though heās still building enough trust to take them directly from your hand. He has done well when tested with both a cat and a small dog.
Watching Kevin transform has been incredibly special. He is discovering safety, trust, and confidence one day at a time. In the right home, one filled with patience, kindness, and encouragement, Kevin is absolutely going to be someoneās heart dog.
