Meet sweet, shy, silly Swoosh. She arrived from Kansas so stressed and unsure, but is blossoming beautifully. She is being fostered with three other greyhounds and a small mixed dog, and catching on like a champ. Her foster family nicknamed her Pippi after the children’s book character Pippi Longstockings.
Pippi has a funny little “clomp” when she walks through the house. She tries to quietly sneak up for affection, but we know her distinctive gait. Pippi sleeps well in the crate and is proving to be a darling girl, even charming everyone at book club. She’s ready for a patient family who will help her keep growing in confidence and love every freckle on her face.
